I would play, but my computer is still in the shop (initial diagnostics are apparantly a dirty fan).

Slarg232 is the name, my Sorcerer and Captain are both level 20.

Considering we're all probably gonna be playing Lord General come march 1st... lol...

Actually, the only time I have ever been to lvl 20 was with a LvL 1 Captain. Those Blind Grenades are so overpowered it isn't funny.

The only time I was was with my Ork, which has a tank build.

Mind you, I've been there several times, but always with that Ork.

Heh.

Well, IIRC, I used the choppa, heavy armor, the two bionic upgrades, and the proximity mines that cause damage instead of slowing the enemy down, and finally either the bosspole or trophy rack depending on my teammates.

Ok, got my builds, Both for the Sorcerer:

Sword of Spite
Armour of Might Undivided
Sigil of Master Sorcery
Sigil of Greater Sorcery
Daemonic Gift of Sustenance
Icon of Summoning

Doomblast will increase your armour up considerably, and the Icon of Summoning along with the Gift of Sustenance allow you to tank pretty well.

Staff of Tzeentch
Robes of Unholy Fortitude
Tome of Hunger
Daemonic Gift of Spite
Tome of Doom
Icon of Pain

SUICIDE BOMBING MINIONS!

With the bosspole, heavy armor, and the bionic bits, frankly no one character can really tank as well as the ork.

But the trophy rack helps the team more, as it also reduces the damage your allies take, which is generally more help than making them immune to suppression (depends on the team). So eh.

Oh I know, which is why I said "Tank pretty well". Your still better going as the Ork for the "tank", but if you want to make a close combat Sorcerer, that's the best way to do it that I have found

Captain Build:

Plasma Cannon
Armour of Resiliance
Rite of Swift Victory
Rite of Fortitude
Parable of the Stalwart Brother
Call Dreadnaught

This one requires a bit more finess than most builds. As you all know, the Plasma Cannon can not move and fire, and getting knocked down requires you to set it back up again. The Armour of Resliance makes you unable to be knocked down, eliminating that problem. The Rite of Swift Victory actually enables you to move and fire with the Plasma Cannon, I don't know if it's a bug or intended, but after charging you immediately let out a shot if you have one loaded. The Dreadnaught is for extra firepower/destroying terrain, and helps because you are still rather immobile. Also, if you want maximum mobility at a loss of firepower, go with the healing Commander Item instead of the Dreadnaught, more energy to move around with.
