I said what are the stats and thought about using them a carcharodon chapter masters sure it has a name but i WILL pay tons of points to field 2 of em
using the baseline of a captain and adding TDA and a pair of LCs But i still need to pay for the chainsaws and stat changes so i priced him in at 205pts but i am thinking of making it a chapter master

Captain Price- 100pts Chap Master Price- 125pts
TDA 40pts 40pts
LCs 15pts Lcs 10pts
+chainswords 10pts 10pts
stat changes 20 20

Total for captain=200 Total for Chapter Master= 205

so with this in mind should i use the captain or chapter master
(remember that i have enough points for Either option or adjust the price with a limit of 230pts)
then i want to know what stats dakka should give him

I'm not even going to try to figure out your math, but I would wait for the actual rules. That or simply use him as standard dual-claw master and say the chain fist parts are just there to look mean.

I'd make the rules relatively simple. He counts as a chapter master or captain with a pair of gauntlets that can count as either a pair of lightning claws or a pair of chainfists (decide at the start of combat each turn).

As far as points go, take the cost of a pair of lightning claws compared to a single claw (ie 50% more expensive) and apply the same to the chainfist (rounding up to the nearest 5 for balance). Add the points for both the chainfists and claws for a total of 40pts.

Comes to be very expensive, but looks like a lot of fun.
