Hi everybody,
I really like Space Hulk, but would like to have more options for choosing the troops. There are several threads here dealing with the rules for Imperial Guard or Eldar, but right now, I'm looking for some fiting miniatures.

There are the Kasrkin Elite choice troops from Games Workshop for the Imperial Guard and I really like their design, but those models are cast in metal which I don't like that much. I prefer plastic or resin because it is easier to assemble, to mod, to paint and to transport and with the fantastic multipart plastic kits available from GW (or Mantic or others) the quality of the casts is no longer an issue (at least for me).

So... If possible, I would rather choose some plastic troopers before buying the metal ones from GW.
Unfortunately, so far I could not find any that come close to the look of the Kasrkin, but maybe you could help me.

What I am looking for is the following:
- SciFi (e.g. the Death Korp from Forgeworld looks to much WWII in my point of view)
- Human
- Light to medium armor (no power armor etc.) with a clear scifi optic
- Equipped with Lasrifles, Automatic guns or similar
- Closed helmets for action in low air pressure/toxic air environment (this is why the GW plastic troopers are not suitable)
- Special weapons would be nice, but that can be modded easily
- Plastic or resin material, multipart would be preferable
- 25 or 28mm scale

Do you know of any models, that would meet these requirements?

you could always repaint the spartans from the halo actionclix game. other than power armor, they meet your requirements.
