So, I bought a crapload of new raiders and ravagers. Here is an initial plan of the list, that I'm hoping you guys can help me tune.

I really like this list. It's very similar to the list I run. The only thing it lacks is cc punch. Wracks won't really do it, especially if you assault through cover since you won't have grenades. I take it you're using them to hold an objective though.
Although I really like running empty boats around for cover, I would probably scratch the 10 man warrior squad, Haemy, and wracks. I would use those points to Get an Archon and Wych squad. Gear the wyches to tar pit, and attach the archon to them pack some punch.

Thx for the comment. I guess I could go with wyches and an archon, but I could also take incubi as a beater unit. Haemonculus gives his PT at the start of the game. I can just shoot down any deathstars and a beater unit might be useful. Something like this:

Take a look at this. It's similar to the first list. I dropped your warrior lance squad for a trueborn squad with 2 lances. Same price basically. In place of the warrior squad, I added a 4th warrior squad like your others. I added your 5th wrack and liquifier back and gave the Haemy something to make him a little more useful. You're still lacking a little bit in cc department, but if you don't squat the wracks on an objective, but use them as a harrassing unit that can pop out and finish off a small squad that's "not" in cover, they'll be more useful than just hanging out in the woods with their thumb up their....... You still have your empty boat to run around with from the trueborn snipers to provide cover for your naked ravagers. It's more of an either/or. The list should be pretty good whichever way you go. Just try and avoid cc b/c you'll lose.

Idea from YTTH. The large wracks move to midfield on foot, meanwhile all the transports fire away. The 3-man wracks reserve and jump onto a free transport when they walk on. Trueborn stay in venoms and bust tanks. Scourges deep strike. Thoughts?

I got my Deldar army and for the past couple of weeks I've been hard at work playtesting my list. I decided to give haywire blasters to my scourges for some suppression fire and I've opened up 15 points. I decided to add grisly trophies since they are very cheap and I have no sybarites. The main question is where to put them. I thought ravagers would be good, since my opponents often either prioritise the ravagers or the venoms. If he is blowing up my venoms I need the ld reroll for pinning checks and morale checks, and if he's shooting my ravagers my infantry aren't taking checks.

I know others do not like the dissies over lances however with the amount of darklight in your list you may want to try dissies on a ravager instead of lances.
I have had pretty good success with them with the caveat that I typically play against marines with the occasional Tau thrown in (and 3 dissies give broadsides a hard time even with drones)
Anyways just try it and see what you prefer.

The venoms are pretty awesome marine (well really any non vehicle unit) killers already, the dissies wouldnt really bring anything new to the list. Plus sometimes he will come up against lists (mech IG) that even the amount of darklight in the list currently will struggle against.

Yep, personally not a fan of dissies in the 5th ed codex at all. Only time when I would really need them is against 2+ saves (especially when in combination with FNP) but 24 darklight weapons helps.

I was skeptical too at first. I have found them to be solid and often a priority target for my opponents. Even with the shear amount of poison shots. But I understand where you are coming from without an assault element in your army.
My beastmasters are such a threat to parking lots that I can afford to use the dissies.

I've been running a 1750 list lately that has been my most effective.
Vect
Hammy with liquifier
4 Trueborn with 4 blasters in a raider
4 Trueborn with 4 blasters in a raider
5 warriors 1 blaster in a dbl splinter cannon venom
5 warriors 1 blaster in a dbl splinter cannon venom
5 warriors 1 blaster in a dbl splinter cannon venom
5 warriors 1 blaster in a dbl splinter cannon venom
5 warriors 1 blaster in a dbl splinter cannon venom
8 wyches, 1 hekatrix with agonizer in a raider
ravager with all lances
ravager with all lances
ravager with all lances
The list comes in at 1746. Its obviously a shooting army with 1 counter assault unit. I have never like spending points on special characters but Vect is worth it. He mows thru squads by himself, the wyches are just there to ensure that he doesn't take to many attacks. The bonus to sieze is nice since it gives you a chance to stop shooting coming your way before it gets the chance. The list still gives you 25 darklight shots and tons of poison shots.

Why would you not go with wyches as your troops? 3 squads of them could make a reasonable assault on an enemy squad. Your giving up a few splinter rifles and a blaster. Would that be worth it?

Wyches do not make good all around troops unless you are fighting a non-mech army (and how many of those do you see?) Wyches cannot do anything except assault - and they often don't win assaults, they tie up units. One or maybe 2 units of wyches is plenty to tie up the best cc unit on the opposing side. Warriors, particularly in venoms can stand at range and shoot.
