I am using snow and ice to base my necrons. The snow is modeling snow from a hobby shot and the ice is from a hobby shop for ice as well. How well would the Ice glue work for making like frozen blood? My idea is to take the ice glue and mix some blood red into it and place it on the base think that would work very well? If noone knows I will play around with it later tonight.

Blood melts ice and snow. It's very warm.

It still freezes though, so go for it I say.

Have a bit of a play around and see what looks good, I'd imagine a few smaller splashes/pools would be more effective than brimming buckets of the stuff (although actually, that's sounding better all the time).

I would base the mini in the ice and snow. The appiled a deep red wash since blood darkens as it pools.

To add to the effect maybe where the blood is make it slightly recessed into the snow to make it look like it melted some ice/snow before it froze

Be very careful with the blood, since it's such a bold color against white snow, you can over do it every easily. When you've gotten your snow into place, you could probably take a fine brush, dip it into Baal Red and then a small droplet of water to dilute it, then just lightly touch the surface of your still wet snow. Capillary action would draw a little bit of red onto th snow and diffuse it. That might work.
