So I am to face off against a pretty nasty orks list upcoming with my Tyranids list. I have played against orks and i am just wondering what the best strategy to deal with orks would be. Nids seem to be at a dissadvantage because orks have such good basic troops, backed up by some pretty solid armor and shooting. My opponnent is a really nice guy but he has been playing a nasty 2000 pt list lately and i feel like he's going to whump me. He plays a few big units of boys, several battlewagon and a unit of kanz, a Big mech and as many as three units of 10 + Lootas, and he will most likely have a large unit of burnas in one of the wagons as well.
I have an abundance of nids to build with in order to face him, but I lack a tervigon model ATM and I dont intend to play with a proxy, there has been too much of that of late.
