I just brought a box of Thousand sons and chaos Havoks and both are halt metal and plastic kit.
These are my first half and half kit.

I tried one kind of super glue to glue the guns of my havoks to their plastic bodies and a plastic arm on a metal body
but it was sooo fragile, that they all came apart...

So what do you guys have used for such gluing?

Plastic glue?
Super glue?

Which brand?

Thanx

Somewhere in south-central England.

Epoxy cement such as Araldite.

You may need to pin some parts as well.

Don't... say thanx. it's kind of sad.

Pin them. there are a wealth of articles on this site to help you pin them.

if you're too lazy to search, pinning is as simple as drilling holes in the two components that match up, then putting a peice of paper clip through it.

I usually do this, glue the components down then use epoxy putty on it. thats the yellow and blue stick you get from GW.

then I usually seal it up with super glua and paint over. it works a treat.

Don't use plastic glue on metal glue. Plastic glue is for plastic. I would suggest pinning, which is drilling holes into both parts of the model. You then use metal rod (paperclips would suffice) and super glue it into one of the holes. You then super glue the other hole into the rod. This should reinforce it enough to hold it well. Use this technique on all metal models, or times like this.

you can either pin them, which is what I just did for my Death Guard or you can use a small amount of green stuff between the join to fill the gap and apply some superglue to both sides before pressing the pieces together.

Thanx for everyone's tips. Since the plastic part is quite thin im not sure pinning is the way to go.. but I'll think about it and tell you what I chose later.

I will get myself some green stuff and I think it my do the trick.
