Does anyone know of a good tool box or storage container (preferably found at Lowe's because I have a gift certificate) that will fit GW size foam? I'm tired of paying so much for figure boxes.

I use a fatmax tool box i got from lowes for around 40 bucks. It fits the foam inserts and my books dice etc. The height of it is great because it can fit my soulgrinders.

I got that for $20 at Lowes. It's a roll-away which is kind of nice. I can fit about 70 troops in the top part and 10-15 vehicles depending on size in the bottom portion. The foam was really the expensive part. And I had to cut it (bought it in 10"x15" sheets at 2").

Stalker, I saw this box. I wondered about it several times? What kind of foam did you use? I have lots of GW foam over the years, so I'd hate to invest in new foam.

Huckleberry,

Do you have a link to the one you got by any chance?

I bought plain foam from a craftstore (2" deep) and cut out the sections for things myself with a utility knife and pair of scissors. I'm not too happy with the results. I am thinking about buying some battlefoam and trying to trim it to fit.

The case holds an amazing amount though. The hobby shops only ask that I clean off the wheels before coming in as it's winter here and this thing makes a mess when you roll it through slush (no water gets inside to the foam though).

I don't have a link to the one I use but in the store its located right next to the roller one stalker mentioned. I almost got the one with wheels but I needed something for my super tall soulgrinders.
