Whats the best (cheapest) way of getting terminators outfitted with dual lightning claws?
Picking the hobby back up after 8 years, any help is appreciated.

I have a classic box of termies finished, but plan on buying 3-5 new termies to add to the army.

Bonus question.. whats the best way for a to outfit a termicide squad as well? can you buy single melta termies anywhere?

You have to go to bits sites or eBay for the bits required these days. Unfortunately, Chaos lightning claws are stupid expensive. Your best bet is to buy regular assault Terminator lighting claws off eBay and convert them up to look Chaotic. The old metal Terminators didn't have a combi melta model that I can recall.

My Chaos Terminator squad is three combi meltas, two powerfists, and one icon of Chaos Glory. Termicide is usually three guys with combi meltas but that doesn't sit right with me.

Another way to get some wicked lightning claws, is to do what i did. I modified some power fists with gaunt/genestealer talons. Pretty much cut off the first knuckle or 2 on the PF then trim and GS the talons on.

Here are some pics of what i did.





The genestealer claws are shorter but taller whereas the gaunt claws are much longer and are somewhat of a pain to position the model but are mean looking.
