The idea was to take a Wraithlord, give it four arms, three of which have a sword, attach a burnaboy's weapon to one of them, put that brass ork face symbol on the face, and a rack with skulls ontop of the head like a huge pickelhaube, add random plates...

I'm not sure I can pull it off and make it look properly Orky like an ork actually looted it. Any ideas?

I vaguely looked at this idea before the kanz and dredd kits came out, but was put off by the Eldar models being a bit tall, and all the LOS issues that come with 'wrong-sized' models. But if you can see a way to shorten the legs (fluffwise, the orks have repaired a disabled walker and replaced some leg bits) then this could work fine.

When I read the title I thought this was about looted war walkers.

This is what I would do, I woulden't use the sword it just dosen't seem orky plus I don't think Mek boys would be able to keep the dexterity in the hand working. I would get a saw blade like from the nob sprue and replace it with that. If you want to give it a weapon I'd say cut off the other hand and put like a ring on the end then get the wrecking ball from the trukk sprue and thread it through the ring with the back connecting to the lord itself.

Instead of a ork you could have it piloted by grots, cut into the lords head about half way up to make a cockpit (jagged is ok for orks), maybe get a black orc shield from WHFB to put on front and give it ork teef. If you want a flamer you could put another grot hanging off the lord with a hobbled together flame weapon.

Cut off the Eldar looking spires on the back and replace them with smoke stacks/exhaust and maybe an engine from a trukk. get some plasticard or pieces of scrap armor and put them on throughout the body to bulk it up like they're welded on. You could maybe paint the main head with the shark jaws orks use on rokkits and fighta bombas. Maybe replace a foot with something else like a barrel or something.

Personally I don't think the Wraithlord would make a good looted dread fluff wise just because 1 it's wraithbone and controlled by a spirit psychicly so it dosen't have alot that the orks could konvert, no wires or anything to tap into. Plus it's really thin and dosen't fit the Ork mentality of bigger is better, it could be done to look pretty cool though.

That's just how I would do it, hope it helped.

I think an ork squeezed into the cockpit of an eldar war walker would look pretty funny (good). Wraithlord; not so much there are certain things that cannot easily be orkified. Perhaps if you stubbified it's legs and put an orky face on it?

I'd probably look into removing the legs and seeing if I could replace them with traks. I'd think about making the Wraithlord into and amputee, and then model it strapped into the back of a ork truk or buggy. Bonus points if you can make it look like a wounded war vet.

do you all think it is doable to convert a wraithlord for a sentinel stand in?

First of all, Orks can loot ANYTHING. As long as they believe they can, it'll work. Orky know-wotz and the wyrd in da boyz heads does it, or sumfink.

And unless you already have a Wraithlord, Vik, Sentinels are cheaper, easier to build, have better spare parts and also look human-engineered.

As has been pointed out the wraithlord is a monstrous creature, not a walker.
Fluff besides, it would be hard to orkify, but making a new head and move it down to the cheast would look orky. Possibly if you made it up more like a megarmour, with a Nob in the centre and the arms and legs as his own + cybernetics hung on the back.

Edit: OK the WL has his head down on the cheast already, nevermind.

And I was planning on adding the brass ork symbols to it to orkify it. Sort of a "Boss' best dread" look to it.

4 arms maybe a difficult thing to pull off. Not a lot of room to add proper shoulder joints if I remember right. Go with two CC weapons and a couple of burnas?
As for Orking things up. Rip/remove up the head in to cockpit area, I like the idea of a double grot pit, mount a engine on the back and hook it up to an exo-skeleton bolted to the arms and legs. Thinking something like the leg braces that Forest Gump wore as a child in the movie.
