I am reading the Chapter's Due at the moment and it says I am thinking of making a Techmarine dreadnaught for my Ultramarines 4th Company and is wondering what you think of these rules.

4 4 6 13 12 10 4 2
Wargear:Servo Arm (with built in Storm Bolter), Plasma Cannon, Searchlight, Smoke Launchers

Rules look cool, but maybe give it more options. Like maybe to take a servo-harness? (but bigger)

I think a single servo arm on a dreadnought would look ridiculous and also be completely unnecessary... how about something more interesting.
190 Points
Ironclad Dreadnought Statline
Seismic Hammer w/built-in melta gun
"Hand of the Omnissiah"
The Hand of the Omnissiah is a sacred relic that attaches to a Dreadnought who houses an esteemed techmarine or former master of the forge (who often keep that title even after joining with the mechanical body of a dreadnought). This specially built arm allows the Techmarine to continue to practice the fine manipulation needed to work with and repair the Chapter's vehicles.
Treat the Hand of the Omnissiah as a Dreadnought Close Combat Weapon with a built in Twin-linked Flamer and built in Twin-Linked Plasma Pistol. The Hand of Omnissiah gives a +2 bonus to the Blessing of the Omnissiah Roll.
Aura of Technological Authority: The stern presence and overwhelming experience of the Techmarine Dreadnought inspires other Techmarines, who may re-roll their Blessing of the Omnissiah roll if both the techmarine and vehicle are withing "18 of the Techmarine dreadnought. Also, any Servitors within 18" do not have to roll for Mindlock.
Servitor Retinues: Like any Techmarine, he may bring along servitors to accompany him into battle. A unit of servitors counts as a troop choice. Otherwise, they are identical to the entry in the elites section, but ignore the limit on number of squads you may take.
Would certainly be cool anyway. Good call.

@ Porcupine el Josh, thanks I'm making him like the one in the one in the book who is armed with a servo arm and plasma cannon but i might add the option to replace the Strom bolter with a meltagun or heavy flamer.

I like this. As a Heavy Support choice, + an upgrade to the MotF for say 50pts, +1 WS, BS and A?

Thanks guys, Jack he cannot repair himself.
magister187 I like the rules for the Hand of the Omnissiah but insted of a twin linked flamer, I will use a meltagun and only gain +1 to his blessing of the Omnissiah roll.
Scubasteve04 he will also have bolster defences.
