I've been making some tyranids spaceships out of bitz and was considering using them in BFG, but I heard they have poor rules. Could somebody explain how they could be used?

I wouldn't say their rules are horrible...they are a close range fleet, but once they get in range they can pretty much take out anyone. The Hive Ships are a big key; with the right upgrades, they can be nearly impossible to take down.

Thanks. Would Vangaurd fleets be useless then?
