Between work, a nagging wife, and 2 armies, this project is slowly taking shape. Still have a full unit of spearmen to build as well as 20 OOP Phoenix Guard which are a pain to pin. I also have to cast some 100 bases for them.

First up, Caradryan

My BSB WiP

My Prince, Has Radiant Gem of Hoeth so I wanted to model as both melee and mage

My IoB mage, magic swirls done with only GW washes over white. Still WiP

Swordmasters WiP

Spearmen mostly done(just skin, shields, banner and bases left) primer went on harsh on this unit, second unit will be airbrushed primer.

My single painted Phoenix Guard not quite done

Looks nice. Good job on the white cloth. I'm not completely sold on the mage base but that's my opinion.

I may redo it at a later time but for now it will do. I used the same technique on my dark elf sorceress with much better results.

Haha, I have several minis in that condition! Just their helmets, arms, legs, weapons, and bases then they are TOTALLY done!

Nice work so far my friend.

Did some work on the Swordmaster champion tonight. Hair still needs some work and a few touchups here and there.

I'm not up on my High Elf fluff, so I have to ask...
What's with Caradryan's face tattoo? Did GW make a "pie (pi) on your face" pun somewhere?

He's the commander of the Phoenix Guard. I haven't read all of the fluff on him so I'm not quite sure on it. An altered pi symbol is a common rune for High Elves in Warhammer though.

That explains it, then. And here I though someone was being clever. That'll teach me.

[edit:] I guess I should add that I do think the elves are on their way to looking rather spiffy. I'm not really partial to the models or the standard white and silver scheme (as suitable as it is), but you're doing it quite well, regardless.

I toyed around with bronze and gold armor schemes and neither turned out very well.
