They were reptilian (read Lizardmen/Slaan) philosopher/mages of sorts i think. More likely a philosophy like Bhuiddism than a deity/pantheon..

Mesopotamia. The Kingdom Where we Secretly Reign.

The god of the old ones is an ancient and all-powerful being referred to in obscure texts as Chuck Norris.

Seriously though, I've never seen anything like that referenced in fluff. I don't think the Old Ones' religious affiliation has been discussed.

Old ones don't Have gods, the ARE gods!
Well not really but y'know. Might as well be, since they created all these races and stuff.

The old ones were the first species and don't have much background info.
They could have had a God/ Gods. But we may never know.
Surely their acts lead to them beiing deified. Creating space elfs, space orks and such.

I dought (Unless GW realess any more fluff about the Old Ones or advance the 40k time line) Well ever know. They are Gods them selfs.

The biggest indicator someone is a loser is them complaining about 3d printers or piracy.

Unknown. I would imagine they would acknowledge some form of creator being or force, bar that i dont think so.

Before their war with the c'tan the warp (where gods resides) was carm and only had little bits and bobs living in it.

The Old Ones possessed a slow, cold-blooded wisdom and were pretty much the true definition of scientists.

From this it could be determined that the Old Ones didn't worship any beings

Who knows, their fluff is left hazy on purpose I think because the zenith of their empire is so far removed from the setting we play in.

Right behind you. No, really.

It would be interesting if the Old Ones were released as an army with more fluff..

I very much doubt that an army for them would ever be released. In the Necron codex it says that all of the descendants of the Old Ones are primitives with no knowledge of their ancestors past.

Seeing as GW don't release pre-40k armies it won't ever happen and what would the army be, one Old One for 1500pts that can rip everything apart? Every part of the Old Ones' fluff shows them to be totally unplayable in the 40k game.

What is more likely is the Re-induction of Slann.
But like squats, there's no chance in a frozen hell that will ever happen

You could do 40K lizardmen..

The Slaan mage-priests from Fantasy are/were the servitor race to the old ones, and they're few but powerful- HQ choice types.

The other servitor races (lizardmen varients engineered from dinosaurs i think- don't have the armybook to hand)

A few random ancient tech pieces (Engine of the Gods etc)

EVERYTHING psykers perhaps (in different ways)

It's doable as a degenerated Old One themed army like Lizardmen, but with i higher Tech level.

I would also want non-nid Zoats as elites and Ambulls as a cc unit - both races were awesome

The Viletide: Daemons of Nurgle/Deathguard: 7400 pts

40K and WFB are no longer linked in any way.
