Hey all, this is my first post on dakkadakka after lurking for a while. Here are some Steel Legion models I have painted up. The army is mostly finished now, so more pics to come. Any feedback/criticism is welcomed.

Looks pretty good to me! I like the rough/dirty look to them. What was the base color for the coats?

Thanks! For the coats I started with a base coat of bestial brown, followed by a badab black wash. After that dried, I did a desert yellow coat, followed by a wash of gryphonne sepia. From there I did a light coat of vomit brown, followed by a very light coat of bronzed flesh. I finished up with one more wash of gryphonne sepia to blend the bronzed flesh into the vomit brown coat, and then used a matte varnish to prevent chips and scratches.

Looks great! I'm starting a Steel Legion army myself. but i'm not doing the same paint scheme on them like the Codex shows. My army is only up to about 500 points

Oooh, now I want to see some IG dressed up as Colonial Marines, and some Necrons completely redone as Cylons.

Though guards may sleep and ships may lay at anchor, our foes know full well that big guns never tire.
