Anyone care to read the fluff for my newly created Imperial Fists successor chapter, the Fists of Dorn?
---------------------------------
The Imperial Fists are known to be a stoical and stubborn group of soldiers, greatest of all the Space Marine chapters at holding defensive positions and withstanding sieges. However, every now and again one of their recruits is found to have a quick temper, or have a reckless streak. Rather than let these fine soldiers go, they are instead passed to the Imperial Fists' successor chapter The Fists of Dorn, where their specific talents and temperament can be put to better use.

The Fists of Dorn specialise in lightning strikes and close assaults. Frequently working in tandem with Imperial Fist forces, they are the hammer to the Imperial Fists' anvil; dropping from the sky behind enemy lines to wreak havoc and break a tightly fought siege. Nearly the entire chapter is equipped with jump packs, and after flying over the foe's battle-lines in their Thunderhawks and Corvus-pattern Stormravens, they plummet from the skies, chainswords and bolt pistols bringing a swift end to months of stalemate.

The hot-headed and brash nature of nearly all the marines in the chapter comes with its own advantages and disadvantages. In most cases the reckless tactics and daring sky drops so favored by The Fists pay off, leaving a bloody streak through the foe. However, rarely, and it is rarely, a squad finds the thrill of combat so compelling that they fail to retreat when the time is ripe, or charge a foe far stronger than them; resulting in the deaths of dozens.

As a newly formed Chapter they are less than 1000 strong and currently consist of only a few companies, however they are growing steadily. New recruiting worlds have been founded in the Gathalamor region and, with their services required in several sectors, the next few years are looking to be prosperous.

The three Corvus-pattern Stormravens the Chapter owns are the Fists of Dorn's pride and joy. These ancient relics of the Raven Guard chapter were gifted to the Fists of Dorn due to the aid they gave against a Chaos uprising on the Raven Guard recruiting world Tialus V. They now a core of the Chapters tactics, not only capable of transporting marines, they are the personal chariots of the chapters oldest members, 3 dreadnoughts known as The Protector, The Watcher and The Avenger. Once their precious cargos have waded into the fray the Stormravens take to the air to provide devastating fire support.

But, for all the bravery and determination the Fists of Dorn have, only time can tell if they can survive the horrors that lurk in out there in the deep dark.

Any comments? I bet you can guess my codex but I hope I've done an interesting spin on it.

Thank you, I know it's not as elaborate as most other people's chapter fluff. But I just wanted to do something believable, that fitted into 40k without being unobtrusive .
