Jinking Ravenwing Land Speeder Pilot

After all the horror stories of miscast pieces i was wondering if anyone has purchased the Deathwing pauldrons from Forgeworld. I'm a bit underwhelmed with the pauldrons via upgrade kit as it requires freehanding the wings and have to go around the purity seal. Freehand and I aren't quite friends yet and would really rather not risk messing it up, besides the pads they've got look cool. Any experience with this particular mold?

I have a couple of sets and they have all been spot on. Never really had any fw problems.

Since they're smaller items, you're pretty safe. I've got enough of the pads to outfit my entire DA Successor 'Redemptor'(Deathwing branch) force.
Just waiting to see how the Grey Knight Terminators look before committing to buying the standard Terminators for the force.

usually the reason large parts come out warped is because they are demolded too soon while the resin is still pliable. Mold degradation is also a reason but less so as molds DO eventually get replaced.
Basically, any problems in manufacturing from FW CAN be avoided if they bothered to try.
Small parts generally set faster and thus have fewer problems. It's also less costly for them to throw out bad casts of small things as opposed to large chunks of resin.
