Subject: Best Compliment to Ork Horde?

So, I'm up against that "All GW models" rule, and looking at the vaguely competitive armies I could get together for 'Ardboyz' on a budget of about zero after my wife's dental work, and my best bet is Orks. I've got lots of them, and quite a few bitz to work with. I'm determined not to borrow figures this year, and to play with an army I'm familiar with. It has to be a Horde list however, as I have basically no GW vehicles, believing that the only proper ork vehicle is a toy with plasticard all over it, or at the least a model tank. Anyway, I can get together 150 or so boyz, Gazgull, and a Big Mek w/ KFF for about 1500. What's the best compliment to this? Things I could field:
Snikrot + 20 Kommandos for that Hammer and Anvil thing. Expensive though.
Nob Squad or Nob Biker Squad (Haven't built them yet, could convert them either way.
Up to 12 Deathkoptas.
A unit of Big Gunz.
1-2 units of Looters.
More commandos if I use "counts as" orky Kroot.
1-2 GW trukks. If I make a little cart to be pulled by a Buggy.
Right now I'm leaning towards Snikrot and the DeathKoptas, since they can come in from reserve, hopefully while the enemy is fully engaged with boyz, and slowly roll things up, or chase down fast movers. Another option would be to include a nob unit and a trukk boyz unit (so they have two rides available) but one plus of playing Horde is to make all your opponents anti tank useless, and with only 2 AV 10 vehicles to shoot at, most armies will destroy the trukks on turn 1. I could perhaps jigger together something that could reasonably be called a GW battlewagon, but again, it would be the only target.
Help out a warboss fallen on hard times with some advice!

An exact list would help. But some options would be:
Lootas
Grots to screen your boyz
Killer Kans
3x3 killer kans with rokkits would compliment your army really well.

If you have Kannon models, 3 units of 3 kannons with maxed out crew and ammo runts is very effective anti-transport.
Add in 6 or so Deffkoptas, and you'd be rolling in the anti-tank you need to be successful in a competitive environment.

I have just one Kan and a Dread, alas. Kannons I could reasonably convert up - and I do have plenty of grots to crew them. Hmmm - hadn't really thought about that. I do think a screen to absorb charges would be good, but boyz are almost as cheap in that role...
Thanks!

I'm fond of koptas rolling forward on turn 1 under turbo-scouting, then offloading into the enemy transports...
Its not really worth hitting anything with armour above 12 with deffkoptas at range, but it can wreak havoc with a rhinorush or guard spam in a can army
You'll lose the koptas, and fast, but they'll give your boyz a turn of advance while the enemy totals the rokkit-coptas..

Koptas. They pose a lot of problems to a lot of different armies, and will probably be priority number one in a list like this.
