Am I the only person who notices the editor/author change names on lieutenants/any non maincharacters about as randomly as they can, it's bloody aggravating..........

I noticed that. If you read the entire series there are a couple of mistakes including Rune priest and Wolf priest being mixed up constantly.
In general the BL books have relatively poor editing and it does depend on the quality of the author a lot of the time.

If you notice in any popular book writers like Eragon for example, there are constant mistakes because they guy forget to reread it and reedit it.
C.S goto constantly made mistakes.
The Black Libarary is like any writing group it makes mistakes its known to happen.
Harry Potter there are some mistakes. Lord of the Rings, THERE ARE 2 or 3 mistakes.
Why?
Lord of the Rings was made by a very well educated British Soldier, who spent months revising and sending it to the editiors over and over again. Until finally they found 0 mistakes. So then he published it. If I recall correctly.

Don't worry most of my posts are WTFs that doesn't make any sense.
And yes stick bombs are very cool looking.
I also noticed some mistakes in Space Marine Codexs and such. And let us not forget the dawn of war Examples from the video Game. "SPAEZ MARHIENZ"

Some mistakes are okay, this book is fairly riddled with them though.

J.R,R Tolkien served in WWI. The standard of education was probably higher due to an increased social pressure to do well.
Also publishing houses have probably lowered their standards a touch.
Though i did enjoy the Eragon series...

I am just saying its best to ignore them. Is not like Goto's work. Where you start bursting out into laughter after rereading the paragraph.
But Space Wolf Lore makes me laugh inside. I have all the Space Wolves Books. And I have only one Thousand Sons book. Because there are only 2 Thousand Sons books. Needless to say I like both of them. But there are mistakes in the Thousand Son's Books too.
Dark Lord Sean here also has mistakes.
Hell every writer sometimes fails at reediting his work.
Not uncommon just all I am saying.
But if it makes you feel any better. The Twilight series is so bad that its like reading a bunch of clip notes from a school girl about a single dude in the class. Minus the l33t or texting language.

Just remember the work COULD be worse. Enjoy the book.
