Alrighty guys! I'm looking for some comments and such about my Basilisk I am doing for my IG army, the 332nd Panzer Division 'Emperor's Hammer.' It's not totally done, but close enough for all to see.

Get a black wash on all the metallics - ALL of them. They'll look deeper and less bright and horrifying. Drybrush your green with a lighter green over the entire tank. It'll look a lot nicer that way.

Clean painting but a black wash and highlighting will really make the baslisk stand out.

I haven't finished it up yet--I need to mud up the tracks and add the weathering and such, as well as the Divisional Emblem. Plus, I did have WAY too bright of a light. Thanks for the suggestions though.

Very cleanly basecoated. Now let's see some detailing!

Not a great fan of the pure silver weapons. Give them a housing in a contrasting colour, black for example.

Also, I like some form of camoflague on my IG vehicles, but thats personal opinion.

Good start though!

Yes, I normally camouflage my tanks too. But I said, eh, screw it. I have put the mud on the tracks or put weathering/worn effects on the weapons and tank. Plus, I was experimenting some, this being my first IG vehicle build. I normally build 1:35 scale German tanks or 1:350th scale warships.

The lighting also blots out some of the detail on there, like the skull's eyes and such, as well as the drilling I did....

Consider this a fresh Basilisk hurried to the front lines for now! Sometimes, you just need it now, tactically speaking. Must have be some tactical gen-CREEEEEEED!

I think it's a bit busy, detail-wise. I don't like the fuel drum or the antenna. The drum especially is on an awkward position.

The supply does not get to make the demands.

id use a darker colour on the tank in general and highlight it all the way up to " nearly white"
