I was thinking and this does fit in 2000..... check this list out but I still think I need the hounds somewhere somehow.

HQ:
Bloodthrister (250)
Bloodthrister (250)

Elites:
3 Bloodcrushers with icon/instrument (150)
3 Bloodcrushers with icon/instrument (150)
3 Bloodcrushers with icon/instrument (150)

I know not the normal 4 man sqaud but I can fit a thrid prince this way lol.

Troops:
10 Bloodletters (160)
10 Bloodletters (160)
10 Bloodletters (160)

Fast Attack:
None

Heavy Support:
Daemon prince with wing unholy might and iron hide (190)
Daemon prince with wing unholy might and iron hide (190)
Daemon prince with wing unholy might and iron hide (190)

2000 points on the nose..... but I can change the Icons around and put the icons on the bloodletters and do a little more changing with the bloodcrushers to still get wound allocation,im debating on which would be the smartest to put it on. Now as you can see all i did was drop a bloodcrusher from each sqaud and gained a daemons prince (not bad IMO). With the games ive been playing lately I don't have the speed to get the assualt 60% of the time with most of my army so I have been using a counter assualt tactic most of the time, working.... ok. So I was wonder if there is a list that can fit the hounds in which in most people's opinion is needed in this type of list but still have troops.... lol please comment back with all the advice you can think of. Thank you. (Mono Khorne Prefered)

Hey CannedKhorne,

Looks really good, although I can see what you mean by wanting Flesh Hounds in there and maybe buff the Crushers again. My tip: drop the wings on the Princes. You allready have 2 'Thirsters taking care of your mobility and the Flesh Hounds will be able to hold up enemy units for a turn allowing the rest of your list to close in.

Heavy Support:

Leaving 80 points for either:

- 5 Flesh Hounds
- 2 Flesh Hounds and 3 Marks of Khorne on the Princes
- a unit of 2 naked Bloodcrushers

I don't think you need more than one Icon btw. I only give them to the Crushers for woundallocation, but I'd never see the need to give them to the Bloodletters.
Also, if you're affraid the Princes wont make combat without wings? Dont be. My current list features 3 wingless Princes and a GUO. It's not all that hard to get them into combat... Good positioning can limit an opponents mobility a lot (exception maybe Eldar in their zippy raiders and serpents... But you have the Hounds and Thirsters for those).

Good luck with the list mate. Write us a battlereport one of these days.
