I wondered if anyone else thought the same way I do.
Why can't GW release some heavy weapons for IG where you buy a box and it just havs 3 of whatever weapon you want. So you can get a box with 3 missile launchers or 3 heavy bloters and leave it at that.
Anybody with me?

Nobody's with you. Why would you want less stuff? The way it is now, you get tons of leftover bits to make cool conversions or hotswap the same platform for different guns. It also doesn't make sense for them to make three different expensive sprues when they can just make one. They spend less money on multiple expensive molds, we get more options.
But hey, if you want less value for your money more power to you.

Because there hasn't been enough demand to be worth it? I don't really see the point. Most people aren't looking for just three missile launchers, they want some of the other stuff too to kit out their army. As well, give people more than what they want and it might make them decided they need to kit out more autocannons as well, and maybe a mortar or two, so time to go buy another box...

That is a really, really bad idea. With more options you have the ability to:
1.) make it modular (either via magnetization or through some other means) so you can use different weapon loadouts without having to purchase several boxes of the same thing
2.) use the extra weapons for conversions if your sure you're not going to change weapons (the guns in there are especially good for Ogryn conversions).
3.) you will never buy a box, then realise it's not what you wanted (either because you thought it was the wrong weapon, or because you later realise the weapon sucks for your army).
Making individual boxes also puts a strain on GW. They will have to make a separate sprue for each weapon loadout, rather than one sprue for it all. This means more metal injection molds, which will more or less make it cost the same or even more than they're at now, due to the extra amount of effort needed to be put in. Plus, GW will never have them all in stock. One loadout is definately going to outsell the others, even if by a little, and will likely be the only one stocked as a result.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

Not to forget - every box carries a cost quite apart from production.
It needs to have stock, both in the stores and in the warehouses which ties up money. It uses a quantity of shelf space and every inch of shelf space incurs a continual cost. It's an additional item that must be monitored for performance, counted for stock checks, etc.
To have five times as many IG HWS boxes would be a very poor decision.
