What happened to the interex?
I vaguely remember some part in 'false gods' that torgaddon lamented the fact that they were destroyed.?

They were on the verge of defeat then never mentioned again. I personally think it would be a great idea to re-introduce them as an advanced, progressive, and humane human faction to counterbalance the Imperium.

I think that they were destroyed. In one of the later books someone mentions that the people that they're fighting against will just end up destoryed like the Iterax and all the others that resisted Imperial rule, or something like that, Lexicanum has a discussion about this on the Iterax talk page.
