Can you put a Herald of Tzeentch in with Bloodletters? I realize they would not benefit from his ward save. I am introducing my wife into them today and would like to have some casting, but it's a 750 game and she really likes 'letters so points are limited. So I figured if I could put it in with the 'letters give it master of sorcery and lore of life and use it to buff the 'letters

No, it states in the special rules on page 30 "daemonic characters" that they must join the correctly aligned god.

Yes, as there is no restriction on characters joining skirmishers any longer. Just make sure you dont make your herald ineligble to join, e.g. by being a chariot...
