Hello everyone , just wondering if there is qoint to be any new sets that are larger than the current space marine battleforce , maybe a megaforce or something like that.

I wish they still did larger army boxes. Some bean counter figured out they weren't making as much of a profit off that and nixed it. That's why you don't get those apocalypse formation boxes either. shame really, i missed my chance on the 100 ork boyz one!

Yeah , i just noticed on the GW website the space marine strike force and realised it was unavailable , i dont really like the currect battleforce , i hope they make something a little like the space wolf battleforce for regular space marines soon.

the space wolf battleforce come with regular sm s plus a conversion kit

Blood Angels are coming out with a battle force and same with the Dark Angels.
And with Grey Knights (Rumored)

Used to be an ork megaforce and marine megaforce on sale. Don't think it's available now until somebody says it should be brought back.

Yeah , i noticed the megaforce and was going to pick one up a while back , but i diddent get time to , shame really i would probably have saved a bit.

Does anyone know if there will be an upcoming force for space marines so that i dont go wasting money on separate box sets now ?

They're not going to get a new battleforce until there's a new edition of the game. That won't be for a couple years. Christmas is usually when there's bundles like Megaforces coming around, but even so I don't think there was anything this year.

If you really want to save money on Marines, go to eBay. They go really cheap there since so many people are buying and selling them.

I second the ebay notion and also check your local Craig's list. I am going to buy a local guy's lizardmen army, un painted still in boxes and some on sprue that he wants to get rid of. $600 of models for $275 not a bad deal for me

Thanks guys i'll give it a go , its not that i don't want to spend a lot of money on the space marines , its just that i am not to fond of the current battleforce.

No. It comes with 20 Space Wolves, which are a new sprue mold (not like before where you get a SM Tact box and an extra sprue), a box of normal scouts, and a drop pod. Because Space Wolves have a different weapon loadout, they do not have some of the stuff that tact squads need.
