Ipswich Town - moved to Suffolk in 2004, and although I had been a Manchester United fan since I was nine, at 30years of age I'd never actually been to Old Trafford.
So after watching Ipswich play at Portman Road a few times I switched over to supporting them. It was then I discovered they had a white Horse as a team mascot and knew it was some kind of fate.
As I'd been supporting the Denver Broncos since I got in the NFL in 1988.
I now have an Ipswich and Denver badge on my work fleece side by side, which look kinda cool.

Manchester United since I was old enough to understand football.
Never been to Old Trafford due to lack of time, lack of willingness on my parent's side and lack of money, but I want to go at some point.
Although from what i've seen on telly, Old Trafford has an atmosphere similar to that of a stagnant pond; i'd much prefer the atmosphere of a place like Anfield or where most of the fans actually support their club, not jump on the FOTM bandwagon.

Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

Yes , i know Manchester United fans seem to be accused of glory supporting or FOTM supporters , but i can assure you the atmosphere inside Old trafford is very unlike a stagnant pond , i Have only been there once to watch Manchester United Vs Everton and the stadium was alive and i could really feel the moment , i do hope to go again sometime when i am older and hope that my experiences from the first time have not changed
Thanks for the input.

Middlesbrough FC, for my sins.
There's really no alternative to supporting one's hometown club, in my opinion.
FWIW, I've been to Old Trafford a couple of times, and it was a great atmosphere. The best was when we beat Man U 3-1, Juninho got a header!

My local local club are currently playing at a level i'd attribute to a Blue Square side on Football Manager '11. The only time we haven't been heavily beaten by the likes of Wolves, Walsall, our own reserves (we won, but barely ¬.¬) and M.K. Dons was when we drew 1-1 with Everton after they got an equaliser late into the last minute of injury time during the second half.
If the simulator is anything to go by, we get in front of goal, and do nothing. We either pass it away (usaully to the opposition), cut it wide, try to walk it in, spin around in circles until disposessed or pass it to their keeper. Whilst defending, we will give up on attackers, we won't mark, we won't attempt to disposses attackers until they're inside the box, at which point we lay into them and give them a penalty...
Yes, I don't support my local local club because they are vastly underperforming on FM
