I've been reading the HH books, and I know all about the massacre on Ivaastan (or however you spell it) and I was wondering if there are any books describing the last battle for terra, where horus leads the chaos legions to earth, and the last fight with the emperor vs Horus?

Whenever they end the series, that'll probably be how they do it. There's no book for that just yet.

Oh ok, thanks.

Just wondering because I want to read how the battle goes. How about any HH Blood Angel books? Because every primarch is getting a book I'm wondering about sanguinius?

As soon as GW hires a 5 year old with Red crayons to write a Blood Angel book, you'll know.

No, but seriously, I have no idea. I don't read books.... :(

Blood Angels will probably see an entry at/near the end of the series, since the most important battle they were a part of was the Siege of Terra itself. It's possible we might see a novel involving Signus Prime before that, still no official word though.

For your convenience, a list!

1. Horus Rising - Centered around Horus and the Luna Wolves, and of Horus' first few campaigns after becoming Warmaster of the Great Crusade.
2. False Gods - Focuses on Horus' fall, how he became mortally wounded and tricked into believing that the Emperor wants to become a God (which, ironically, as we know, Horus eventually causes)
3. Galaxy in Flames - The events leading up to, and including, the exterminatus of Isstvan III, where Horus renounces the Emperor and begins the Heresy.
4. The Flight of the Eisenstein - The last of the "Intro" novels, Flight details how the Death Guard battle-captain Nathanial Garro manages to escape the Isstvan system with a desperate warp jump in order to inform the Emperor of Horus' betrayal.
5. Fulgrim - Follows Fulgrim, the Primarch of the Emperor's Children and how they became the Chosen of Slaanesh.
6. Descent of Angels - Follows the Dark Angels, giving them an intro (how the Lion became Primarch) as well as their role in the early years of the Crusade.
7. Legion - Details how Alpharius of the Alpha Legion eventually chose to side with Horus.
8. Battle for the Abyss - Explores the Ultramarines and Word Bearers legions; the Word Bearers plan a massive attack on Macragge, which the protagonists struggle to prevent.
9. Mechanicum - describes the civil war on mars between traitors and loyalists as they determine which side the Adeptus Mechanicus will side with during the Heresy.
10. Tales of Heresy - collection of short stories that give a wider background to the Heresy, Crusade and the Imperium.
11. Fallen Angels - continues the story of the Dark Angels, following how the Legion tries to resist and prevent Horus' influence from turning more worlds.
12. A Thousand Sons - the story of the Thousand Sons Legion and how Horus tricks the Space Wolves into launching a war against them on Prospero, the legion's homeworld.
13. Nemesis - Deals with the Officio Assassinorum and how they attempted to assassinate Horus, as well as how assassins from the opposite side attempt to kill the Emperor.
14. The First Heretic - Details the fall of Lorgar and the Word Bearers to Chaos, spanning about 50 years prior to the events on Isstvaan V.
15. Prospero Burns - part of the story arc of A Thousand Sons; follows a Terran academic who eventually becomes the skjald of the 3rd Company of Space Wolves. Also deals with the long-term plans of Chaos to destroy both Wolves and Thousand Sons in the war on Prospero.
16. The Age of Darkness - Similar to Tales of Heresy, Age of Darkness is a compilation of stories that provide background information on the Heresy. It will apparently cover the seven-year period between the Dropsite Massacre on Isstvan V and the beginning of the campaign on Terra.

Most of my information comes from reading Wikipedia; I'm about halfway through Eisenstein right now, but there you go.

There's still a lot of HH fluff to come...the first 16 are potentially only a small dent.

We still need to see some Iron Warriors info, Night Lords, Raven Guard etc...

What about the battle Lorgar takes to the Ultramarines etc etc.

Needless to say I'll be amazed if it's finished by book 20. The last book should really be about the assault on Terra and fallout from that.

Edit: D'oh, just read post above - I didn't realise Age of Darkness was going to be another collection of stories...aye it's likely that a lot of fluff will be covered in there and hopefully address some of the other chapters.

Personally I wanna know what Garro went on to do Freaking loved Flight of the Eisenstein! (Not listened Oath of Moment yet).

Nemesis is the one I'm most interested in. Its hard finding enough Assassin fluff. Meh'Lindi was good in The Inquisition War.

Here is a great version of the events that happened during the siege of Terra, appearing in White Dwarf 161.

Not a book mind, but still a decent bit of fluff and I guess the basis for what will be written.

Actually, although the Siege of Terra will be the ig climax for the series, I imagine they'll carry on and look at how the Legions were reformed into Chapters, the Imperial Fists vs. The Iron Warriors, etc, etc...

That link won't work directly. C&P http://members.tripod.com/orcrist_game/40k into your browser, then follow the Horus Heresy link.
