Hey all,

I'm confused by the third paragraph on p14: Also, none of the models in the unit may move more than twice their Movement rate as a result of a manoeuvre (i.e. Men with Move 4 can move up to 8"

As a I read it there's two ways in which this can be explained:
1) A unit with movement 4 can move 3" and then do a 5" wheel. But this is weird because it would let you move further as long as you perform one or more wheels.
2) A unit with movement 4 can move 3" and then do a 1" wheel. The double movement is only applicable to Reforms.

So my guess is that it's explanation 2, but then I'm still baffled by the paragraph I quoted, what's the point of it?

To stop any model in the unit moving over twice their normal rate. For example if you try to do a reform which would require a M4 model to move 10" (Biiiiig unit) you cannot do so.

To illuminate the above with a specific example:

For some reason, there's a unit of 70 night goblins, 10 wide, 7 deep. The controlling player wants them to make a reform to 5 wide and 14 deep. The gobbos on the outermost flanks would have to move more than double their movement to complete the manuever, so it is not allowed.

This rule is basically a safety measure put into the game to ensure that reforming models in big units aren't somehow faster than when they're marching. I suppose it also might prevent some very strange players from abusing the reform manuever by inch-worming across the board...I really doubt this would ever actually work, though.
