It's been a while but here's a build I came up with. I'll be facing Nids. I haven't played Nids vs this friend but I know he likes Tervigons and really boosting his termagants. I was probably going to castle up but have a smaller firebase farther away so he'd have to choose where to commit his guys. I went for as much survivability as possible up until the point that he gets close, then I'd pack up my guys in transports and leave. I'd outflank with one set of kroot to hopefully challenge an objective late in the game (figure he's going to commit pretty much his whole army to charing me so hopefully my kroot will find a small group of gants to face and destroy). So here it is....

HQ

XV8 Shas-el with AFP, missile pod and multi-tracker
VX8 Bodyguard with TL missile pod, Plasma rifle, and multitracker (standard fireknife)

Elite

XV8 'ui team leader fireknife and bonding knife
2x XV8 'ui fireknife config

XV8 'ui Team leader with TL flamer, burst cannon, and HW multitracker
XV8 with flamer, burst cannon and multitracker
(note, this is a suicide unit obviously...don't know if I'd DS these guys or hold them back and jump into the fray immediately before his genestealers hit my lines)

XV8 fireknife x2

Troops

2 x 6 man squads fire warriors

1 devilfish with gun drones and disruption pod (mobile cover and a way out once things get hectic)

2x 10 kroot squads (one possibly outflank, the other as a speedbump or counterassault)

Fast attack

5x pathfinders with pulse carbine/markerlight

devilfish with gun drones and disruption pod (will be used by the other firewarriors)

Heavy Support

Railhead with SMS, decoy launchers, and target lock

XV'88 TL with A.S.S., HW drone controller, shield drone, nd HW target lock
XV'88 with A.S.S.

Separate unit of XV'88 with A.S.S. (should I combine these units?)

So there it is....I'm not expecting to win but figured I'd go the route of dakka and hope he fails a bunch of saves. I've got a ton of high strength weapons, plus enough railguns to hopefully ID his zoanthropes and lictors if they show up. I plan on sacrificing the flamer suits and kroot while the rest of my army runs away in the devilfish or jetpacks.

Constructive critique would be good.
