If i really want to use misetic spores as piece of terrain to bloc some LoS or hide some vital troops behind what size of object would be appropriate?

big as an orange? a softball size? or anything more or less spherical that can old the bulk of a tyranid monstrous creature?

Use a Drop Pod as a size reference and few can fault you.

I'd say close to an orange in size, but more oblong.

Ask yourself: have you rated a gallery image today?

I agree with this.

800 brethren and 2,000 other personnel were expected to reach Crows World within no more than 12 hours. They never arrived.

GW's old site use to have a terrain tutorial on how to make a Mycetic spore, although at the time it was just a piece of fluff and didnt have actual rules. It was huge though, about the size of a land raider (possibly bigger).

The Current Mynetic Spore should roughly be about the size of a fex, perhaps a tad bit larger. It's shown in the book that a Fex pretty much fits perfectly into it, with a rather thin membrane enclosing the fex.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.

Drop pod sized, as these on the left and right (left Crusader Casting, right old Epicast):

Mr. Dandy and Chapterhouse offer further models of roughly the same size.
