Looks solid, though you have plenty of points left over. As you aren't using the General's magic banner, I'd switch him over for an Arch Lector. Prayers and +2 dispell dice are a great boost to your army, and if you field him mounted,will give your Knights Hatred, which will make them a lot more killy.

20 as a detachment is too big. generally go with 10, 15 max. Swordsmen are better for this IMO because they survive better than the other options, and their role is to negate ranks, not really kill things.

My detachments in every list are:
10 swordsmen and 10 archers

7x2 knights is a big chunk of points for Empire. Battalion tactics would see units of 5 with only a musician as flank protection for your infantry blocks.

Pistoliers aren't as good as they once were, points are better spent on outriders IMO.

2 cannons is good.

You are still short 57 points for 2k. Find room for a mortar if you can.

lv 1 mages will accomplish next to nothing. At best you can cast 3 spells as it stands, and 3 per phase isn't hard to dispel. A single lv4 would be more useful than the 2 you have now.

I have to disagree with you about detachment size. Ranged detachments should be small, but 10 Swordsmen won't hold anything other than slaves or clanrats for more than one round, and will likely be killed if they attempt to flank charge. Combat detachments need to be big, 20 strong is good. Against anything other than bog standard infantry, state troops die, but with Step Up, a 20 man detachment can take the casualties, and then hit back.
Swordsmen can be taken in smaller numbers though, as I4, WS4 5+ saves makes them quite a bit harder to kill, so I suppose that 15 man swordsman detachments could work.
