Just played my first game, and I quite enjoyed it. It took me a couple of minutes to get myself oriented, but after that it went well. Too bad that I'm the only one with decent connection though.^^

The control feels a little wonky (twitchy and unprecise), but that might just be inexperience.

Graphics look quite good. I'm sure it's nowhere near Crysis 1 on a maxed out PC, but it still looks good. Reminds me of Halo: Reach, only a little souped up. Draw distance is a bit short, but not something that really catches your eye unless you're looking for it. Killzone 3, Gears of War 3 and Bulletstorm may look even better, but the point is that Crysis 2 looks good enough.

The killstreaks are practically ripped directly from Modern Warfare (3 kills UAV, 5 kills airstrike, 7 kills gunship) but that's ok.

I wasn't hyped about this game before, but now I'm pretty sure I'll buy it. It probably won't be a day one purchase though.

Yeah they are going to adress the twitchy and unprecise feel. Its problem with the games engine, they didnt have it with crysis 2 for the pc

In an hour or so I'll give the demo a try.

It should probably have more adding in a more deep multiplayer. Whats cool about the MP is that i used to play Team fortress 2 a lot, id play as the spy and what i do is sprint around with a shotgun, luring people to look for me whilst a cloak and effectively stab them in the back. Great game but needs more cuztomization

The matchmaking quality is really starting to annoy me. The game itself is fine, but even fantastic games can be ruined by network issues (GoW 2 *cough*). I shoot my enemy, I see his shield glimmering and stuff, but he doesn't die (even from a whole SCAR-mag) and kills me instead. In the killcam, my bullets aren't even hitting him. The worst thing is that I'm the only one in the game with 4 full green bars while everyone else has yellow or red. Why am I at a disadvantage with a 10 mbit connection, while some kid sits on a fax modem and beats the crap out of me in every game? I really hope this isn't indicative of what the final product will be like.

Apparently its demo is only on xbox, and is a spectacular failure of a demo....

Not much interested in a pc port version of a series I haven't exactly been following anyway...

yeah because having the ability to inter change modes (stealth, power and armor), having an extensive category of weapons and 200+ suit configurations is such a fail hahaha

The fact the demo, or whatever the hell it is, is an XBoX exclusive is what the Internet Illuminati call epic fail. I mean, what the feth Crytek, did you already forget why you're even making Crysis 2 in the first place?

AFAIK each platform gets a separate version.

Pretty much. It's apparently an xbox primary now, making me care even less about it. If it's for sale on steam for ten bucks or less at some point I'll get it, but meh.
