Im going to be playing a doubles in the next few weeks but i have no idea which race i will play.

And my teammate will be either Wolves, BA or Tyranids

What of the following races do you think would work better at this point level, with space wolves?

The wolf player will probably have something along the lines of
1 Rune Priest
2 Squads of Grey Hunter
1-3 Lone Wolfs
0-1 Long Fangs
0-2 Fen Wolf Packs

The Tyranid player will probably have something along the lines of
1 Hive Tyrant
1 Zoanthrope
1-2 Squad of Stealers
0-1 Squad of Hormagaunts
0-1 Trygon

The BA player will have something like
HQ-I have no idea.
1-2 Priests
0-1 Death Company
1-2 Assault squads
0-1 Pred

Please Note that any combined lists the TO deems to Cheesy will be rejected

I would choose BA and Tau, simply because Ba is a super assault type army and Tau a super shooty army. Whilst your Ba charge forward to engage the enemy, they are covered by extensive tau fire. Your enemy will be caught between two opposite type armies. Very hard to deal with

What about the combos with Nids and Space Wolves?

Yeah, also looks like a pretty good idea. What tactics would you think of using with those units? Also, are you playing only 2v2 games, or do you also have a couple 1v1 games?

Nothing cheesy but if i work it right i should be able to put down a few tanks and quite a infantry models a turn. And as long as my teammate is very aggressive the enemy shouldnt be able to touch me in close.

Don't Pathfinders have to take a devilfish?

I'd go with Wolves and Tau probably. Tau with BA is total fail your arm will pull in opposite directions and become 2 isolated elements.

Wolves are the best defensive army in the game, Tau have the best long ranged guns. The problem with Tau is that it is too easy to get at them in 5th Ed and turn 1 assaulting armies and BA Rhino rush armies pretty much auto-win against them. However the SWs can be your meat shield and the walls of your castle. They have no soft targets and are brutal when receiving the charge and can support your Railguns and missile pods with Missile spam and Grey hunter melta goodness.

On your Tau list Pathfinders have to take Devilfish so it is illegal as stands. I'd be tempted by Deathrains and 3 or more broadsides in the idea to combo with Space Wolves. The idea being that you can nail even mech guard at range. Using FWs and Grey Hunters in 2 lines for horde control.
