Hay all.

Ok i finished my first model about 6 months ago then stopped painting and i started my second one few nights ago

First one that i know is really bad but i will leave as it is for now

And my second one i am working on atm hence why no head as i messed up big time and need to give him another lol.

Not very good at all i am finding it hard to keep the paint where i need it but i guess it takes time for me to learn that.

More pics on my gallery http://www.dakkadakka.com/gallery/images-20402-13596_First%20Model%20Painting.html

WASH

washing Orks (or Orcs in your case ) works really well... Either Devlin Mud or Ogryn Flesh is the standard i believe....

Thanks i have ordered some washes now

When you wash a model in say devlan mud for a orc do you wash everything even the metallic painted sword ? or is it best to a mix or brown and black washes on the same model.

Thanks.

You can wash whatever you want. I usually use either devlan mud or badab black for weapons but I would suggest using more than one color wash, say brown on the body and black on the weapons just to give it some tone.

Thx

Going to paint the head for the second model today.

What i am to going on the next box of orcs is paint parts separately just maybe bluetack them together for priming.
This may take longer but it help when trying to paint the hard to reach places and get paint everywhere lol.

Working on the head now and painting the eyes is bloody tricky.

I have put the head on now not very happy with the skin on the model as i messed up drybrushing 2 times i can't seem yo do it right lol

No washes yet in the post :(
