Missed a few things on here recently. Those treads are looking excellent vik, with a milliput wash to harden them up they'll be perfect. The beast itself is looking huge.

Nice assortment of bitz there, but as others have said, glass is not the best material to use. The pop-a-point pencils are excellent, haven't seen those for ages, I'm going to have to track some down now, thanks

Yeah, get that dread up and walking. Or on treads maybe? The body looks great, just needs some locomotion.

Well, the obvious solution would be to make a smaller sponson for that tank, and then a BIGGER tank for that sponson

So, catching up after a while off, what's been happening in the Glorious Empire? Lots of interesting conversations

Oh, and some turrets. And a very nice looking turret. I actually like the fact the arches don't follow the turret edge but flare out at the bottom. Mind you, I have spent the last year thinking about Orky asymmetry rather than Imperial linearity

New detailing adds a gak-load of coolness to the beast vik, and as to the Union Jack, I'd keep that un-riveted.

And someday you'll have to regale us with the tale of how you got your tail copper-plated.

Looking very cool with the boiler and stacks in position. Will there be reinforcement rings on the stacks?

And nice work on the chainswaw.

Always good to see a rivetted backside.

Talking from a mad mek's point of view obviously.

Love watching rivets appear on tanks, they really bring it all together.

Cake is a lie? Nooo. Say it's not so Oh, I see, phew, that had me faint of heart for a moment there.

And no vik, it couldn't be dakka. That's heresy.

It's not like I could have done anything else in the last couple of hours

Go start one right now.

j3r03n - Sorry, didn't see that there Some good stuff there, and found another company begging for my credits (Scotia Grendel). But vik is right, you should throw some of it up on here, if everybody posts on Dakka it makes it so much easier for us to keep track of everything

vik - look at the troopers in my chaos blog, most of those are cadian torso's on catachan legs with the belt chopped off. Alternatively, just make sure they have plenty of gear on their belts.

Start with a few pics of what you've done already then just continue from there, no need to fill all the gaps, if they want to see the history they'll check your other blog. I'm sure there's plenty of peeps around here who'd enjoy your take on squats. And as vik said, you're just starting the Helghast - ideal

Extra wargear - covering gaps since 1784

I am? I mean, yes, I am! I'm wise and sensible and mature and a model citizen and I'm writing about tiny robotic fungus men from space that I make in my spare room.

And I think he's coming round vik

What is this talk of kicking pig's bladders around? Heresy. Cleanse it with fire NOW.

And as to those rumours Baiyuan's helping to spread, they're false.

It was all about muties back then Orks are newcomers to my collection.

Ouch! You have been having a rough ride recently vik. Maybe we should isolate you in a giant steam-driven iron lung like her majesty, keep you nice and safe

And I'll echo shaso's relief that they caught it early, rest easy vik.
