More or less done with my plague marines ... still need to add some rust powders to the armor. Also painted Death Guard icons on the shoulder pads to match the Rhinos.

Thinking of doing my regular chaos space marines as Death Guard too, but in the lighter off white color, so that I can use them in the regular Rhinos and Land Raider if I want.

Your basing skill are fantastic! The colors you chose are perfect. I really like the different types of bits and wargear they are equipped with. What wash did you use?

May Grandfather Nurgle bless you with a pox champion, for these are truly worthy of a gift from the Lord of Flies himself.

I primed Kryon Camo Green then gave them a drybrush/highlight of Gnarlock Green and then Rotting Flesh. Then, I used a mix of Paynes Grey/Burnt Umber (liquitex) to wash them.

A bit darker than your previous works, but no less nicely done.
Your take on Death Guard/Plague Marines is one of the 'cleanest" I've seen, however that has not affected their overall effectiveness in the least as you convey the "feel" of PMs fantastically with out the excessive "mess" one sees in many Death Guard armies.
Very nice work indeed.

I am both selfish and chaotic. I value self-gratification and control; I want to have things my way, preferably now. At best, I'm entertaining and surprising; at worst, I'm hedonistic and violent.

Your Plague Marines have a different feel to them than most I have seen. Perhaps its the copper color added to the models. Your paint work is fantastic though, great job! Love the bases
