On a Canoptek Spyder's Waiting List

Ok here is the thing: I love GW, nothing relaxes me more than painting some miniatures, but when GW announce a new release that everyone is going to get excited about they dont include a picture. This can be fair enough but it would be good for GW to show miniatures to a select group say 10 in each country to evaluate their opinions of the new models. My prime example is the Stormraven gunship, when i heard they were going to release a model for it i looked it up and i did not like what i saw, to be honest i think it looks like if a thunderhawk screwed a land raider and the baby had chromosome troubles. What are your thoughts

GW used to actually show sneak peeks on their website along with occasional concept art for upcoming stuff. I think the last stuff they previewed was for Cities of Death.

1.) Noone understands why GW makes no previews anymore.
2.) Previews have nothing to do with taking part in the decisions what models to release, as this decision is done and always has been done years before by the GW staff.
3.) And even with only the one leaked pic of the Storm Raven, polls showed that about half liked the model, more now it is (almost) released.

I blame that stupid mystery box stunt they did.
They seem to have become more secretive after that.
