My father recently received an ornate and beautiful chessboard from Morocco as a gift. The only problem is that we do not have any pieces that fit the squares. They are 1 inch wide (2.54 cm), and I was hoping to see if anyone knew of a good brand/set of smaller nice chess pieces. Please note that my dad has no interest in wargaming, I'm looking for the classic designs (horse for knight, castle for rook, ect).

I could so see it done with Ultras and World Eaters SM. Pwarns as scouts, Castels as Devistators/havorks, knights as apothacarys/what ever the spiky SM version is, bishops as chaplins, queen as a libby and the Chapter master as the king, how cool would that look  Oh, Gray Knights V Deamondsand Spiky SMs Oh sooooooo cool

I've often thought of doing a warhammer chess set, but never gotten around to it.
My skaven one would be...
Pawns - Clanrats
Rooks - Doom flayers
Knights - Stormvermin
Bishops - Plague Priest
Queen - Deathmaster Snikch
King - Grey Seer
On topic - There is a good chess shop on Baker Street. Oh wait, you're in the States.
