Well here's the deal.
I got a venerable Dread and it's cool and everything, but I just want to give a rocket launcher instead of a CC arm.

Does anyone know a way of making one to match this other arm.

In short an Archy,Cathedraly Dreadnought Rocket Launcher.

Any feed back would be nice.

Umm do not hold me to this because I do not have my rule book here. but venerable dreads may not have that weapon choice.

Strike that they can.(looked up the ruling) I recommend green stuff for that ornate look. shame that GW does not make a bit for venerables like that

Lol I knew someone would say that,it's just going to be a very fancy Emperors Children Dreadnought. Which can have a rocket launcher.

Seems quite difficult.
That looks pretty simple, but you'd have to find some sort of material that is easy to shape.
I suggest at least trying to use plasticard, if that doesn't work for you, then I'm not really sure.

Should be easy enough to build the general shape with plasticard. For the arches you could just press mold that arm or maybe look into terrain kits that you could pull from. I'm not familiar enough with suitable terrain to make any real suggestions there though. Maybe there's something in model train terrain (church etc.) if all the GW related stuff is too large.

The arches are just part of a facade that goes on the arm, and the basic shape it just a little rectangle and a big rectangle. I suggest buying/trading for just the arch bit (or the whole right shoulder), and carefully cut vertically the 2 rectangles apart. Then glue/GS the smaller rectangle to the right side of the bigger one.

Now it depends on what you want to do about the actual rocket launcher. I'd buy a standard Dread Missile Launcher arm and add the arches bit, and little plasticard/GS to mimic the rest of the trim. The only detail you're missing in the inward curve at the top of the Ven. Dread shoulder. If expense (with in reason) it no problem, I'd buy (or covert you current) VD left shoulder, and use the top curved part. Really if you buy the regular Dread ML, Arch bit and VD left shoulder there are a bunch of ways you can do it, just depends on what you think is the easiest method.
