From memory the tyranid bone sword says:
".... no armor save allowed (power weapon?).... if a model take unsaved wound from bone sword he must succed on a LD test or fall to instant death"
Is it to say that being wounded by a bone sword is a "auto-instant death test" unless you have invul. save?

yes you would get your invul to save against the wound, so only apply the LD test ID if you fail your invul, since you suffered an 'unsaved wound' not an 'unsaved armour save'

Ok so in game it means that if Big Joe Ork (1 zillion Wound with no invul. save) get wounded only once by a bone sword if he fails a LD test he's toasted right?

Yup. It's made to kill multi-wound models without the Eternal Warrior Rule. Although, most models with more than one wound tend to have higher Leaderships, so it will be hard to actually get an ID off them.

Also remember that if they have a pair of bone swords the test is on 3d6.

Ok i got the general picture but one last thing!
What about models or independant character that are fearless or otherwise immune to leadership test in one way or another. Are they immune to the instant kill effect?

Fearless makes you pass all morale and pinning tests. Bone swords invoke neither of these two things. Thus fearless offers no protection.

The BRB makes a very clear distinction between the two.

There's a far distinction between different test, such as a leadership test, pinning test, morale test, psychic test, and what-not test you could think of. The only thing they have in common is that they all roll on the models Ld value.
OT (kinda):
fluff-wise, it's not the blade itself, that ID's - it's the psychic energy stored up inside, that literally drains the victims life-force!
