Sorry in advance for the contents of this post. It occurs to me now that I can't recall who manages the profanity filter.

Anyway, I just made a post in Off Topic, that contained the following word:



I figured the filter would catch it, as it usually does with profanities. Anyway, it went right through. Might want to add it to the filtered word list. I suppose I should be proud of the fact that I can always find new and unique ways to be offensive.

There is a bit of overhead involved with every single search/replace so we tend to not bother with more obscure combinations and extensions of existing words. Self censorship is the best in those cases, and from what I can tell, that word has only been used 3 times in 2.2 million posts, so not worth adding. Thanks for being good about it all though.
