Nice report! Even if quite a lot of it was more butchery than battle.

I managed to win a local tournament up here in NH today, despite wacky badly-designed scenarios and despite my dice trying to throw the game on me in the final round. Got a decent test of a list similar to my Templecon list. I'll try to post something later.

Very good battle report.

I feel your opponent punted away this game. He could have castle in a corner when his vehicles came onto the board and set up his lootas/big gunz so they would be protected by the vehicles. Then, he could have utilized his speed instead of getting boxed in by your dreadnought.

This game felt like watching a fight in which one guy got the other one on the ropes and just wailed on him for 5 rounds.

But which corner could he have castled up into? The far corner was filled with my pods so his whole force couldnt have fit in, forcing him to come in more to the middle. And so no matter where he deployed he couldnt get out of the thunderfire cannon's range. And castling up would mean the dreadnoughts could have boxed him in more, especially if I had gotten more than one a turn, and even if the lootas had lived a bit longer, they really dont scare the AV 13 Ironclads much at all, he only killed 2 because of rear shots with buggies when I decided to sacrifice 2 of them to kill the gretchin early in the game before he had a chance to get them inside a vehicle or something to hide... since they were an objective. But I agree that he could have screened the lootas better.

To deal with the dreadnoughts he needed some Boarding planks? Is that the ware gear on trucks that lets him drive by fist me without getting hit back? That would buy him more chances to swing at me without getting stuck in. Also I think he should have made a big push for my objective all at once his first turn. If he had already decided it would be too much work he needed to draw my attention, like I did with the early speeder rush, and put all his trucks flat out in my face.
