So Figure i might take my bike army...its all built, just needs to get painted. So here is the list...

Vulkan
Captain on Bike with Relic Blade(or a thunder hammer), Artificer Armour, Storm Shield, MeltaBombs, Digital Weapons

6 Th/SS Termies with a Land Raider Crusader, MM-(vulkan rides dirty with them)

4 Squads of 6 Bikes with 2 Meltaguns, Power Fist, Attack Bike with MultiMelta

Now for the Break down

Vulkan- Needs no introduction
But for the less informed....most abused char in the marine codex i think. ReRolls on all melta weaponary, master crafted Thunder Hammers...

Captain On Bike...
Basically his role on the field is to tank hunt to his best ability. with his relic blade he is S6 with 4 attacks on the charge. He can basically survive most stuff except for double toughness. with a 2+ armour save and 3+ ward, i c him as running amuck. If i roll with the Relic Blade, its str 6 2 I5. But if i go with the thunder hammer, he can kill basically anything but going last. But i was use him as a gofer on killing tanks...

Termies in Land raider Crusader- Basically Vulkan's Body Guard. I might Go with 2 Lighting Claws, 3 Thunderhammers. They are basically Evil.

Bike squads- troop choice...t5 can be instant killed by S8 or more..
Basically my threat range with my guns is 12'. 24 with the bolters, 24 with the Multi-Melta and 12 with the Meltaguns..

So i am going to give this a shot...working overnights is awesome. starting first squad right now.

I was thinking of Doing a conversion for the captain on bike...the one i have is just a marine on a bike with relic blade/storm shield.

Thoughts on the list? C&C is welcome..

That captain is a bit overbuilt don't you think? 2+ save, 3++, and T5? Not to mention digital weapons? I don't think you'll need those with a TH.

Sounds like a tough list otherwise

LoneLictor on thread about an ork choking the Emperor:
 LoneLictor wrote:
I like to imagine the Emperor kills so many Orks that he ends up half buried beneath a pile of corpses, with only his head sticking out. A lone grot stumbles across him, and starts choking him.

Then Horus comes across the lone grot, somehow managing to kill the Emperor, and punts it into space.

I've been play a C:SM for 1.5 years now, and I've learned a lot about how they play.

Termies blend very well with them, as the bikes need some CC hitters.

I would swap Vulcan out with a Libby. Null zone and psychic defense are just that good.

Your bikers have enough restless TL boters to were I would go with the redeemer over crusader. It's cheaper and the flamers will buy you more Killy power than the extra bolters.

Finally the last big weakness is long range anti transport. I ran a list like yours once, and this is what happened. I played a KOS ork player. He rushed up in me. I moved my MG bikes forward and cracked open 1 BW and 2 truuks. The next turn every ork in the game was assaulting my bikes. After putting in some anti transport, such as a rifleman dread, the game changed dramatically. The next time we played, I cracked open his trucks across the board, has enough overwhelming firepower to deal with the BW, then boltered down the remaining orks.

In summary, you need AT with a range longer than 24

All that being said, bike armies are tough, fast and fun to play
