So I am making a Tau army. I don't intend to make it extremely specialized, so I could go a lot of ways as far as fluff goes. However I did have one idea I thought was pretty good as the backstory of my cadre. The ancestors of my cadre lived in the jungles of the planet Tau, and in general their livliehood depended on the hunting of animals native to those jungles. They learned to use ranged weapons and patience to take down their prey, therefore they are inclined towards ranged weapons and dislike close quarter/melee combat even more than most Tau. They tend to base their tactics on "the hunt" and waiting for their enemy to come to them. Their soldiers are trained heavily in using range, patience, and rational tactics to their advantage. Also my cadre is very loyal to the cause of "the greater good" and in general has not thought about rebelling. For the name I was thinking Beast Hunter's of Tau, or perhaps The Stalkers of Tau (BTW my cadre resides in the Tau sept if you couldn't tell). How about you tell me what you think about my fluff and maby a good name for my army.
