Hey, there, Dakka brothers. I have a quick question of opinion to throw out there that may influence my next army choice.

I love 40k, and after a bit of a hiatus, I am ready to come back in full force. I just need an army to play! (funny story about that, actually.) I've broken down my choices into two armies for 40k...

Chaos Space Marines - World Eaters
In my area, Khorne is horribly underrepresented. If someone plays Chaos, they feint out and play Chaos Undivided (Word bearers, ect.) Khorne is my second favourite God, and if I were to pursue a World Eaters army, the only deviation would be, possibly, an Alpha Legion sorcerer and Obliterators. Everything else would be Khorne of the World Eaters Chapter. I've decided that I would record how many skulls were taken by my army for the Skull Throne. Basically, if an infantry model is killed in close combat, or in a ranged attack that doesn't result as a wounding on 6 (HEADSHOT), would count to a score that I would keep close track of. Explosive weapons, Superheavy weapons, and Instant Death-causing weapons do not count.

Orkz - Kustom Waaagh!
Roight, 'ere's da otha wun. Everybody luvs a gud WAAAGH!!! Loik dose kayoss Boyz, we ain't got nuff Orkz round 'ere! So, oi was tinkin' dat oi'd make me a grand ol' Waaagh an' teach dose space Marine boyz da meanin o' fear, cos they 'parrantly don't already! Oi'm gonna need Boyz. Lotsa boyz! Wif so many Imperial Guard boyz runnin' round 'ere, Oi gotta 'ave more Dakka! Maybe Oi'll get me wun of dose Mek Boyz an' get me an army o' Trukks! Dis gonna be da best Waaagh! eva!! Oi got me a pointy stikk dat needs some 'eads on it!

So now on to the actual question! I'm a major lore freak, and I enjoy playing those armies that are horribly under-represented (I'd play SoB if I didn't have to wait like two weeks to get models after ordering off of GW's website... Or Black Templars if I didn't have to spend nearly $60(?) just to kit out a fluffy squad of Tac Marines.
In your area, what is a lacking army? Based on what you've read above, which army would be good for me?

Voting for world eaters here, a really cool army.

Hard choice for me, I play both.
Orks are great fun and can be very entertaining on the battlefield, especially the shokk attack gun.
Chaos is good although running anything but an undivided can be slightly annoying with the current codex.

With orks you can get very flexible. World Eaters mind you is more screaming Kill Maim Burn at people and other obscenities to the Blood God while getting Kharn and lots of zerkers to charg the enemy lines.

I did consider Khorne CSM: kharn, lots of zerkers in rhinos and some chaos termis or possessed. And a defiler or two. In my head it sounded quite gory
