So my theme is no goblins save those who are in the war machine crews. Those lot better hit things if they know what's good for 'em.

I am writing in the dark here with no experience with greenskins. Any help appreciated. Keep in mind that no goblin units of any kind can be added. If I want a goblin army I'll make one. This is orcs, and I'll likely end up using orc models as crewmen.

Okay. Here goes:

- your character builds are very, very close to what I'd do. But not exactly:

- I'd protect your BSB more than your general. A 4+ Ward would be great. The Charmed Shield and a 4+ Ward is as good as it gets.

- I'd give your lvl4 the Dispel Scroll, and drop the Ring. Then, I'd give the lvl2 a Power Scroll to help ensure he casts Waaagh! or Gork's War Path when you need it.

- From what I understand, Mork's Spirit Totem is an almost must-have.

- I'm not sure what 5 boar boyz or one chariot are going to do...more boyz on foot might just be better.

- On that note, you've got a lot of shooting and a lot of close combat. I'm not sure how well they'll work together. If it were me, I'd drop all the shooting (Arrer boyz too) and get me...6 trolls and a giant. And some extra boyz, of course. Dropping the cavalry could get you the Spirit Totem, and yet more boyz.

The more I look at Orcs and Ogres, the more I think that you have to think like them to play them.

I don't like playing 2 phase lists. I prefer armies that compete in magic shooting and combat at the same time, so the shooty bits stay.

Vanilla units of heavy cav are useful for flank protection, the chariot also does this as well as nice complimentary charges with bigger units.

I'll tinker around with the character builds.
