Hey Guys,
A few months ago, I bought a whooooooole pile of Tyranids. I had this grand idea of modifying and customizing all of these beasts, and sending them wave after wave at my friends. Unfortunately, around the same time, I bought my first home which has been a "Fixer upper". Alas, my babies sat in a moving box until the other day, when I picked them out and realized, I will never have time for them.

To make a long story short, its time to say goodbye to my little friends, and downgrade to a less.... hordish army that I can handle. My big problem is, I don't know how much to ebay them for. So I'd thought I'd ask the Dakka members to tap into their infinite wisdom.

Here's what I have:

* 7 Carnifex's ( 3 of which have Forgeworld parts on them )
* 3 Trygons
* 3 Hive Tyrants
* 3 Tyrant guard
* 4 Hive Guard (2 in packages, 2 missing original guns, but have bits for other guns)
* 3 Zoanthropes
* 5 lictors (2 OOP still in pack)
* 2 Venomthropes
* 2 Biovore
* 51 Termagaunts
* 20 Gargoyles
* 52 Hormagaunts
* 16 Genestealers
* 2 Broodlords
* 14 Warriors
* Codex
Most of them put together and painted in various color schemes. Easily strippable. Some of them are fallen apart and need to be glued or modified. A bunch of spare bits. Ect

So what do you think? I think its about $1700-1800 Canadian to buy new (Don't yell at me if I'm wrong I'll check later.)
What would YOU list this army for?

I want to say that I was able to buy 2 sets that totalled almost 170 figures (no Trygons) for less than $400. You have about 180 figures there + the 3 Trygons.

If you don't mind me asking, what all did you get to have that many models for that cheap? Are they all gaunts?

No its just most things drop to 50 -80% off what you paid for them once they are built or have a SPECK of paint on them. As you have lots of metal you should try for $500 - $700

The price reduction is not that low if they are assembled and assembled well. Some people actually enjoy having this step done for them if it is done right. (Shaving mold lines, applying putty ect.) But Witch King is correct about the paint- generally speaking- the more that is painted the less you'll get for it.

Spine Gaunt 32
Hormagaunt 32
Genestealers 44
Lictors 5
Warriors 11
Ripper swarm 24
Dakka fex 7
Hive Tyrant 2
Zoanthrope 4
Biovore 3

That's what I ended up getting over 3 different trades for less than or around $400
