On June 18th and 19th, 2011, Privateer Press will be holding the Lock & Load GameFest in Seattle, Washington! Complete details for the event will be revealed here in time, but here's a sneak peak at what to expect from Privateer Press' first annual Lock & Load!
Come to Play:

Lock & Load will be jam-packed with Privateer Press gaming. Whether you are looking to prove your competitive might against the best players in the world or to experience new ways to play your favorite games, Lock & Load is the place to be. Unleash your tactical prowess in one of several Hardcore events, meet new friends as you battle for skulls at all hours in Iron Arena, throw down with Privateer Press staff, and fight to be the first to earn the title of Lock & Load Master in the Masters event! Also, be sure to check back here regularly, as we will be revealing plenty of new and awesome events you won't be able to experience anywhere but the 2011 Lock & Load GameFest!
More than Just Gaming:

All the great gaming events at Lock & Load are just the tip of the iceberg. Not only will the weekend be full of incredible gaming experiences, but attendees will have the chance to immerse themselves in the worlds of Privateer Press like never before. Hone your hobby skills with in-depth workshops from our world-renowned Studio team, including terrain building with Rob Hawkins, painting with Matt DiPietro and Ron Kruzie, and sculpting with Brian Dugas. Take a walk through the Privateer Press museum and discover how a product is made from the earliest concept to the final product. Sit down with Iron Kingdoms scribe Doug Seacat for a history of the Iron Kingdoms both ancient and recent. Finally, compete to earn the title of Grand Master in the first annual Lock & Load painting competition, and show off your creative talents in our costume event!

But that's not all; there are plenty more exciting events waiting to be revealed in the months leading up to the first-ever Lock & Load GameFest in June 2011. Mark your calendars and return here soon to pre-register for your badge and be at the forefront of the new convention experience!

This really interests me. I'm especially keying in on the classes on sculpting and terrain making. It's one thing to read tutorials and blogs and what not, but it's another to talk directly to the people doing their awesome stuff and see how they're doing it all.

If you take those classes, I can't wait to see what you come up with with more training!
