I have most of the models in this list (started for WHFB) and 3 models are going to be proxied until I can convert/buy some things. From what I've read, it would to be best to have the preferred wave to be big and tough then have your shooty guys come afterwards. So following that I'd have my bloodletters, flesh hounds and a unit of flamers as my preferred wave. Anyways, that's what I've come up with. Pick it apart, suggest how to improve or what I should buy to improve it. Have at it.

Your Tzeentch chariot HQ is good - Dont change it, however your HoK is pretty horrible - w/o a juggernaut or chariot - HoK just arent that good. You'd be alot better going for another Tzeentch chariot or alternatively a Slaanesh chariot - IMO Slannesh chariots are a very underated HQ. Also (permitting your wallet permits it) GD's can be really really good - however, with them, its all or nothing - If you have only one - they'll have everything firing at it - and sadly, it dies.

Your MSU units of horrors are good, however i'd be more inclined to use PB's over blood letters - as you have a very very fragile list. Bloodletters are great, but they die. Alot.

Invest in either fiends or bloodcrushers also. The Elite spots in the daemons army is prob the most contested - with the exception of beasts of nurgle. Flamers are excellent too. Make sure your using all three spots.

You dont have any heavy support either. Given the world of Mechammer as we know it - 3 bolts simply wont cut it.
Invest in either SG's or DP's.
Phelgm for ya SG's or Nurgle assault DP's or Tzeentch bolt DP.

You have some good ideas with your list - however the units do not really compliment another.

I have been looking at getting plaugebearers, I've read they're very resilient, but I'm hoping that they'll get a plastic kit soon so I'm sort of holding off for now.

I'm still learning the codex, but don't the crushers move like infantry? They look like they'd do well in CC, but getting there intact might be a bit tricky. I'll also have to take a look at the fiends again. I don't remember what they're like.

Which would be better to take, a DP or SG? I like the idea of dropping a pie plate for sure, but I'm not sure what role the DP would fill.

Tzeetch prince fulfill the roll of tank busters. They are also a MC with a 4++save and not a slouch in combat either.

Depending on your list SG with Phlegm or Tongue are both good. Tongue is statistically equivalent to Bolt against AV 11 (hit 4+, Pen 2 versus hit 2+, Pen 4) and better against higher AV.

There is some debate that the wording in the Deamons codex makes Karanks Unit an elite choice..

Personally, I would go for a Soul Grinder. DP's I have used are massive fire magnets, and you can spend mucho points on them. An SG is, IMO, more cost effective. You've got a decent amount of shooting as is.

Fiends are very fast, have a high number of rending attacks, and Soporific Musk-which gives them Hit and Run. Like all Slaanesh units, they are fragile, but the ability to pull out of combat with Hit and Run helps a lot. Also, their huge chare range means you can strike them in cover, far away and safe, before charging in.They are decent tank killers too.

Bloodcrushers would be MUCH more powerful in combat, although as you suggested, they're slow and get shot a lot.
