Well, the problem is, you can't. Firewarriors are a +1 choice. You MUST take at least one group of them.

At this points cost, you should max out your number of suits. Get another unit in their, either Deathrain, or Fireknife, whichever suits (pun intended) your mood.

Troops

Squad 1
14x Kroot
5x Kroot Hound

Squad 2
14x Kroot
5x Kroot Hound

Squad 3
14x Kroot
5x Kroot Hound
Like I said above, you have to have firewarriors. Lose some kroot in order to get them in. Since you have pathfinders, you don't have to buy a devilfish for your warriors. Just scout the pathfinders into cover, and give the fish to your warriors.

Fast Attack
8X Pathfinders + bonding knife
Devilfish + disruption pod.
I'm assuming you paid for the team leader upgrade as well? Cause that is a requirement for the bonding knife.

Heavy Support
3X XV88 Broadsides
advanced stabilisation systems

2X Hammerheads
Railguns
Disruption pods
Smart Missile Systems
Make sure to list these as seperate. I didn't realize you had two until I looked carefully. I would suggest the burst cannons on the hammerheads. Just to save points.

At this points cost, I would suggest Broadsides>Hammerheads. You want to maximize your railguns, and you can get more in with Broadsides.

I would say thats a pretty good list.

BTW, its deathRAIN (like "bring the rain"), not deathTRAIN (choo-choo?)

LOL!

I thought it meant like...unstoppable or something. IDK I think all the nicknames for fittings are pretty lame :p

I agree. I never understood why Tau have to nickname everything. I literally saw a list posted on here once that was nothing but acronyms, and nicknames. It was unreadable unless you knew what they all meant.

The list looks pretty good...

The only thing I would change is take your 2 3-man broadside squads and make them 3 2-man teams, so you can split fire better...

That is about all.

Whichever they are, I'm not on the Reich ones, clearly.
